In their own words
Pinin
Pinin is a web and API service for colorizing, sharpening, and repairing damaged, faded, and vintage photos. Enhancement tools denoise images and upscale low-resolution files. Pinin says its model is trained to preserve facial structure, expressions, and distinctive features rather than inventing faces. You can upload multiple photos, including complete albums, and download restored albums together. For photographers, agencies, genealogy services, and archives, the service offers batch processing, commercial licensing, white-label options, and API access for applications, websites, and workflows. Pinin says photos are never sold or used to train AI, files are automatically deleted within 30 days, and the service is GDPR-compliant and made in Italy. The free plan includes one restoration with maximum-quality output but no commercial usage rights. Paid choices include a 5.99 USD one-time five-credit package and annual plans such as Giotto at $144 a year, billed annually.
