In their own words
CodeMonkey
CodeMonkey teaches coding through puzzles and projects in which students build games and apps. Its curriculum targets grades K–8 and ages 4 to 14+, from courses for younger learners to advanced Python work. The catalog includes block coding, CoffeeScript, Python, game creation, digital literacy, data science, artificial intelligence, and high school computer science. Courses use guided challenges, hints, and self-paced activities; most do not require prior coding experience. Game Builder lets students make games with block-based or text-based code and add sprites, widgets, and sounds. The platform is web-based and does not require installation. Teachers can sign in with Google, import classrooms and students, sync class lists, and post Coding Adventure assignments, but full Google Classroom Assignments and Stream functionality is not supported. CodeMonkey has paid plans and no free plan. Individual costs $11 a month and Family costs $20 a month, each with recurring billing every three months. School and district subscriptions are custom quote plans, and student seats are individual and non-transferable.
