| Spec score · AI Screenshot-to-Code Tools | 8.6 (#6) | 7.0 (#21) |
| Integrations | Codia Open API tools can be installed into Codex, Claude, Cursor, and local AI agents. | Ollama runs models locally; OpenRouter is the only cloud provider the README says has been tested, while OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini are wired up but untested. |
| Privacy | Codia says it does not use private customer files, prompts, or outputs to train models unless the customer opts in or a separate written agreement provides otherwise. | The README describes OpenStitch as requiring no cloud, while also allowing optional cloud model providers. |
| Security | The maker says browser, API, and checkout traffic uses HTTPS/TLS and that enterprise review can cover encryption, retention, DPA, and private deployment requirements. | OpenStitch has no authentication and is intended for local or private-network use; the README warns not to expose ports 3000 or 7001 to the public internet. |
| What it does | Codia converts screenshots, PDFs, slides, images, and design files into editable designs and other creative formats. | OpenStitch is an open-source, locally runnable AI UI design tool that generates rendered, interactive frontend code from text descriptions, screenshots, or wireframe sketches. |

In their own words
Codia AI
Codia AI converts screenshots, PDFs, slides, images, and design files into editable designs and other creative formats. Its Screenshot to Figma workflow detects text and layout to rebuild screenshots as editable layers. It also converts Photoshop files and content from Canva, Notion, or Office into Figma designs. For development, it can turn screenshots, PDFs, or Figma files into code for React, Vue, SwiftUI, Flutter, Android, or plain HTML. NoteSlide converts NotebookLM exports, regular PDFs, and image-based slides into editable PowerPoint or Keynote presentations. Visual Struct API turns interface screenshots and mockups into structured JSON, SVG, and Figma-compatible files. The product family includes Codia Studio and Figma and Canva plugins, with listed workflows for Figma, Canva, Photoshop, Sketch, Cursor, Claude Desktop, and ChatGPT. Codia offers web, API, and extension access, and lists a free plan at free. It says private customer files, prompts, and outputs are not used to train models unless the customer opts in or a separate written agreement provides otherwise. Converted output may need manual review, and OCR depends on source quality.
