In their own words
Collar
Collar is pet-business software for grooming appointments, scheduling, payments, and related operations. Groomers can accept booking requests around the clock, with availability controlled by breed, size, coat type, staff availability, and capacity rules. Schedules may be groomer-specific or shared across services. Automated reminders can use in-app chat, email, or SMS, based on customer preferences and past interactions. Businesses can request deposits, charge cards on file after appointments, and adjust totals before payment. Collar Chat supports text, photo, video, and report sharing, plus ready-to-collect notifications. Pet and owner profiles can store vaccination details, grooming notes, and contact information. Other listed tools include marketing campaigns, e-commerce, multi-site management, reporting, tagging automations, and staff task management. Collar runs on Android, iOS, and the web, with Stripe handling payment processing. Plans cost 49.00 GBP, 99.00 GBP, or £199 a month, with a 14-day trial.
GroomCard
GroomCard is a browser-based client records and online booking service for dog grooming salons. Dog profiles can hold breed, allergies, vaccinations, grooming notes, photos, and visit and price history. Clients book within salon rules for business hours, dog size, and service length, with manual or automatic approval. A calendar, visit history, and numbered receipts track appointments and transactions. Revenue can be viewed for a selected period by source, excluding no-shows. Client, dog, visit, receipt, and revenue records can be exported to Excel. The pricing page lists email reminders sent to clients the day before an appointment. GroomCard works in a browser on desktop, tablet, or phone without installation, and the maker says salons’ records are kept separate. The Free plan costs nothing and allows up to 10 clients and 10 online bookings per month. Pro costs $22 a month or $190 a year, with unlimited clients, dogs, and online bookings. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; GroomCard says it does not see or store full card numbers.
