In their own words
College Raptor
College Raptor is a free college planning platform for students exploring schools, costs, scholarships, and career options. College matches take account of a student's academic profile, intended major, campus preferences, and financial situation. The platform estimates net prices and offers a tool that reads uploaded financial aid letters, summarizing grants, scholarships, net price, loans, out-of-pocket costs, and estimated debt at graduation. Users can search thousands of scholarship opportunities. Career Finder covers more than 1,100 careers, with information on openings, typical salaries, required education, skills, and careers growing in selected states. College Raptor is available on the web and Android. Its net price estimates may not include third-party scholarships or grants, or institutional competitive awards for talents and specific academics. The FAQ says estimates are aimed at traditional dependent students ages 17–24 without dependents of their own, and may be less accurate for others. The company says it encrypts user information and shares personally identifiable information only with permission or at the user's request.
