In their own words
CollegeSource Transferology
CollegeSource Transferology helps students explore how college coursework may transfer between schools and gives institutions tools for recruitment and advising. A free student account can check college courses, AP, CLEP, International Baccalaureate, military courses, and military occupations. Transfer Pathways show options between schools based on partnership agreements and educational goals, while enrolled students can search for replacement courses that may transfer back to their current institution. College and university employees use Transferology Lab, a staff portal for administrators, equivalency managers, and advisors. Staff can create Course Bundles for common transfer scenarios, custom institution-branded landing pages, and reports that identify coursework without established equivalencies. The responsive web app works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. A Student Lead API exports student information requests as CSV or JSON for other systems. Institution subscriptions are tailored to enrollment, with pricing available on request. Transferology does not let users apply to schools or send transcripts through the service.
DegreeSight
DegreeSight is a web-based credit transfer system for higher education, providing personalized transfer evaluations and degree pathways. Inbound lets students submit course information on an institution’s website and get self-service credit answers. Insight maps credits to degree pathways and shows progress toward completing a program; it also supports live chat and SMS about evaluations and program updates. DocSight extracts course data from transcripts, including in bulk. The platform matches courses against institutional articulation agreements, and decisions can feed into its workflow engine. Listed connections include Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, Jenzabar, Slate, Salesforce, and HubSpot. State systems can use direct SIS integration or secure CSV exchange. Insight lets students submit across more than 30 programs at once. DegreeSight says its data is hosted on Microsoft Azure and protected by SOC 2 controls; it also reports HECVAT completion, VPAT accessibility documentation, and FERPA-aligned handling of student records. SSO options include SAML, CAS, OAuth, Azure AD, and Okta. Pricing is available on request, with no published tiers.
