In their own words
ColorBox
ColorBox is a free web tool and extension for creating color systems and accessible palettes. You can adjust multiple colors in one tab and share a system as a URL or JSON file. Contrast indicators show 3:1, 4.5:1, and 7:1 levels for color sets, while HSV and OKLCH provide color-space modes. Auto Dark Mode creates an inverted set from original inputs; duplicated sets can also be edited manually. Hue progression rotates clockwise or counterclockwise. Export options include Config, Output, Tailwind, CSS, OKLCH, and Swift. The maker describes importing systems into Figma through a plugin and JSON, with custom step names and generated Paint Styles. A Sketch route uses that Figma workflow, then SVG export. The color algorithm can be consumed through NPM with exported JSON for code generation. Custom curves were described as unavailable in ColorBox at the cited time. The free plan is ad-free.

Its listed 13 tools include a palette builder, gradient generator, color mixer, color wheel, converter, image palette extraction, image color picking, contrast checker, and color comparison. The palette builder creates tints, shades, tones, and complementary, analogous, split-complementary, triadic, and tetradic harmonies. The Free plan costs nothing and includes 12 tools, HEX export, up to five saved colors, five palettes, and one project. Pro is $37.20 a year, billed annually, excluding tax; it adds unlimited saved colors, palettes, and projects, plus export in HEX, RGB, HSL, LAB, LCH, OKLAB, and OKLCH. Subscription plans include a 14-day free trial; the one-time payment option has no trial. The Figma plugin creates tints, shades, harmonies, and stepped gradients from selected layers or local styles, but supports solid fills only. The Photoshop extension includes a color wheel, OKLCH support, harmonies, and stepped gradients with hue interpolation across color spaces.
