In their own words
Colorize.cc
Colorize.cc is a cloud-based photo service for adding color to black-and-white images and restoring damaged photographs. It can address scratches, stains, tears, noise and blur while improving detail. Premium colorization supports output up to 4K. In V8 Studio, users can work on selected areas, move colors, add or remove details, and rerun edits. The dashboard supports batch colorization and restoration, result management, and access to API documentation. A free preview is available without signup in simplified quality; the upload preview accepts JPG and PNG files up to 5 MB. The FAQ lists JPG, JPEG and PNG as supported formats. Paid plans are one-time payments: Basic is $12, paid once for 50 photo processing, Standard is $49, paid once for 250, and For studios is $199, paid once for 1,250. Each includes two restoration algorithms, two resolution enhancement algorithms, colorization up to 4K, photo animation and AI Portrait. Colorize.cc says uploaded photos are stored securely in the cloud and accessible only to the user.
TrueColorizer
TrueColorizer is a web service that adds estimated color to existing photographs while aiming to retain the people, objects, composition, and photographic detail. It offers Hybrid, Natural DDColor, Artistic DeOldify, and Stable DeOldify methods; Hybrid is described as a 60/40 blend of DeOldify Artistic and DDColor. Users can adjust quality and color strength, compare the source and result, preview finishes, and download a full-resolution image. Uploads may be JPG, PNG, WEBP, or TIFF, up to 10 MB, and processing happens in the cloud. A free account or sign-in is required. The free plan includes three lifetime colorizations. Starter costs $4.99 per month for 50, Standard costs $7.99 per month for 100, and Pro costs $14.99 per month for 250. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be canceled from My Account. The site says photos are encrypted in transit and temporary processing files are removed after colorization; it says originals are not intentionally retained. Color choices are estimates, not proof of historical colors.
