In their own words
Combat Metrics
Combat Metrics is a free addon for The Elder Scrolls Online that records and analyzes combat logs. It measures damage per second, breaks down damage by skill and can show who caused incoming damage. It also analyzes healing given and received, healing per second, buffs and debuffs, and magicka or stamina use and regeneration. Players can filter combat logs to investigate specific issues. A resource-light mode shows current-fight DPS and HPS, while the CombatMetricsFightData module can store combat data separately from settings; that module must be enabled in the game's addon manager. The addon requires LibAddonMenu, LibCustomMenu, LibCombat and LibDataEncode, which are downloaded separately; LibDebugLogger is optional. It can export builds to the ESO-Hub build editor, but older fight exports may omit role, passives and attribute points, and alternative skill bars are not supported. The maker says many heavy fights in succession can reach the Lua memory limit and suggests limiting stored fights. Minor Savagery is ignored, and PvP statistics require disabling “Light Mode in Cyrodil.” The project is described as still in beta.
FF Logs
FF Logs provides combat analysis for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV. Players can record encounters, upload reports, and examine combat activity in real time. The site lists raid progress, speed, and execution rankings, along with job balance statistics. Its Deaths Statistics show how often players die, which mechanics are involved, and how much overkill occurred. FF Logs also supports match history, player profiles, team statistics, leaderboards, and live statistics. The homepage links to a downloadable app; subscribers receive ad-free viewing within uploader applications. For developers, the public GraphQL v2 API uses client credentials, while access to private reports through the private API requires user permission. API authentication uses OAuth 2.0. FF Logs has a free plan, with paid subscriptions starting at $2 a month for Silver. Higher tiers list older-report access, increased API limits, and Discord roles or channels. Supported access includes web, Windows, macOS, Linux, and API.
