CompeteTracker

CompeteTracker is a web app that helps Shopify stores set prices using competitor data. It automatically monitors prices across websites and keeps pricing history, while discovering competitors and suggesting price changes with strategy controls. Merchants can choose to match the lowest price, aim for the median, or undercut the lowest by a set percentage. A price floor and per-cycle maximum change limit constrain those strategies. The app matches store products to comparable competitor listings and excludes out-of-stock items from recommendations. Suggestions show matched competitors and pricing anchors, and changes require approval per variant. A one-click Shopify update includes safety guardrails and an audit trail. Prices are normalized to the store's currency, and the product advertises instant price-change alerts. The free plan monitors three competitors and requires no credit card; Starter monitors 10 for $19.99 a month, and Pro monitors 25 for $49.99 a month. The homepage advertises setup in two minutes.

VantageDash

VantageDash tracks competitor prices and matches competing products to a seller’s catalogue for comparison. Users add a competitor’s store URL, and the service reads publicly shown products, variants and prices. Its AI compares names, categories, sizes and price ranges; uncertain matches are shown for review. It can compare prices per unit when pack sizes differ. Analytics include price trend charts, competitor heatmaps and automated insights. Supported store types include Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Ecwid and custom-built shops. Scout is free at free and covers 3 competitors and 50 products, with up to 5 manually started price checks per month. Basecamp costs $19 a month and includes 10 competitors, 200 products and checks every 48 hours. Vantage adds Slack and email alerts, and teams can collaborate in a shared workspace with role-based permissions. The service says it supports stores in any country and reads local price formats and product names in any language. Some sites block automated visits, so products there can be added by hand.
