Overview

Conquest’s Strategic Advice Manager (SAM) evaluates and ranks strategies, models life events, and responds to client questions. It combines a calculation engine with a proprietary AI expert system to produce deterministic, repeatable results that can be audited. That emphasis on consistency is useful for advice practices that need to explain and revisit recommendations, rather than tools built for a single calculation.

A single engine supports self-directed, hybrid, and advisor-led planning, covering retirement, investment, insurance, tax, business succession, estate, corporate, and family trust work. This range can serve firms whose advice spans many client needs; it may be more platform than necessary for practices focused on one narrow planning task.

Key features

Planning and modeling

Cash-flow modeling, goal planning, tax and insurance planning, investment planning, and scenario analysis address core advice workflows. The combination is useful when an advisor needs to compare strategies across changing circumstances. A firm choosing a specialist tool for only one of those jobs may not benefit from Conquest’s wider remit.

Connections and AI assistants

The independent-advisor offering lists Charles Schwab, TradePMR, held-away account aggregation, Zocks, and Jump as live at launch. Wealthbox and portfolio reporting are on the way, so firms that depend on either should account for that gap in their plans. An open two-way API can connect SAM to an existing technology stack or custom advisor and client experiences, making it relevant to firms that want to integrate planning into their own workflows.

The MCP Server connects plan data to Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot. Firms control access, and connections are authenticated. That provides a route to use assistants with planning data while keeping access under firm control.

Security and support

Conquest identifies ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO/IEC 27017:2015, ISO 27018:2019, ISO 42001:2023, SOC 2, WCAG, and CSA STAR Level 1, and says data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Its privacy safeguards may include security testing, vulnerability scans, passwords, encryption, firewalls, and secure coding frameworks. Enterprise pricing includes guided implementation, onboarding, data migration, team training, and a named success team with a 24/7 enterprise SLA, which is a substantial operational commitment for larger deployments.

Pricing

Independent advisors & RIAs: 0.00 USD per free. The waitlist is free, but the 14-day trial is upcoming, not currently a way to start evaluating the product. This offer targets US-based independent advisors and boutique firms, typically teams of 10 or fewer; it is a poor fit for advisors outside that audience or teams that need immediate access.

Enterprise wealth firms: custom quote, scoped to firm needs rather than per seat. The plan lists unlimited plans, seats, and advisors, making it the option for larger organizations that need scale and implementation support. Its custom pricing requires firms to seek a tailored quote rather than compare a fixed per-seat price.

There is no free plan. The self-serve offering's free waitlist should not be mistaken for an active free tier, and the upcoming trial means independent firms cannot yet rely on a 14-day evaluation period.

Platforms

Conquest supports web and API access. The API makes it possible to connect SAM to other systems or custom experiences; no mobile platform is specified among its supported platforms.

Who it's for

Conquest is aimed at certified US-based independent advisors and boutique firms, typically with 10 or fewer team members, as well as larger wealth firms considering an enterprise deployment. Its breadth suits practices that address several planning areas and want a consistent engine across self-directed, hybrid, or advisor-led models. A solo advisor outside the US, a larger team seeking self-serve access, or a firm unwilling to wait for trial access should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Broad planning coverage combines retirement, tax, insurance, investment, succession, estate, corporate, and trust work in one engine.
Pros: Deterministic, repeatable, auditable results support advice workflows where recommendations need to be consistent and reviewable.
Pros: Two-way API access and controlled connections to major AI assistants give firms options for fitting plan data into existing workflows.
Cons: Independent advisors face a free waitlist rather than immediate access, and the 14-day trial is upcoming.
Cons: The self-serve audience is limited to certified US-based independent advisors and boutique firms, typically no more than 10 people.
Cons: Wealthbox and portfolio reporting are still on the way, which may matter to firms that need those connections now.

Alternatives

MoneyGuide is a paid option with a 14-day trial and web, iOS, macOS, and Windows support. Its MyBlocks Individual plan costs 125.00 USD per month on an annual subscription, paid monthly, per advisor; choose it if that published individual pricing and platform range suit your practice better than Conquest’s waitlist and custom enterprise route.

FinStak offers a free plan and trial, with Android, iOS, and web support. Its Basic plan is 60.00 USD per month billed per user, or 70.00 USD month-to-month, plus a 500.00 USD setup fee, and is CRM-only; consider it when a free entry point or CRM is the priority rather than Conquest’s broad planning engine.

eMoney Advisor is a paid service with a free trial and Android, API, iOS, and web platforms. Its Pro plan has custom pricing based on organizational needs and includes cash-flow planning, CoPlanner, and a client portal; it may suit a firm seeking that combination and broader device support.

Fin365 is a paid, web-based alternative with a free trial.

RightCapital has a free trial and Android, iOS, and web support, with no free plan. Its Basic plan is 149.95 USD per year per advisor per month and requires an annual commitment for the first year; its listed scope includes retirement, tax, insurance, investment, estate, and business planning. Choose it if its published plan and platform range better match your needs.

Worksorted offers one licence with unlimited users and flexible functionality, at custom pricing; it is an alternative for firms that prefer that licensing model.

Xplan uses packages and modules selected to fit business requirements, with custom pricing; consider it if a modular package approach is preferable.

Redtail CRM is a paid CRM alternative with web, iOS, and Android support and a free trial; choose it if CRM is the priority.

Verdict

Conquest is the right choice for certified US-based independent advisors and boutique firms that need a broad, repeatable planning engine, or larger firms ready for an enterprise engagement. Its main advantage is the breadth of planning work SAM can handle with auditable outputs; its main drawback for independent advisors is that access begins with a waitlist and the trial is not yet available. Look elsewhere if you need to start evaluating now, fall outside its self-serve audience, or require a connection that is still on the way.
