In their own words
Coolify
Coolify is an open-source, self-hostable deployment platform for websites, databases, web applications, and more than 280 one-click services. It builds each commit and deploys over SSH to a connected server. Projects can use Nixpacks, Railpack, Dockerfile, Docker Compose, static serving, or a prebuilt registry image. Push-to-deploy connections include GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gitea, including self-hosted instances. One-click databases include PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, KeyDB, Dragonfly, and ClickHouse. Operations include pull-request deployments, scheduled tasks, shared environment variables, monitoring, S3-compatible database backups, and rollbacks. An API and MCP server let AI clients such as Claude and Cursor manage resources, deployments, logs, and restarts. Coolify runs only on Linux; the documented minimum is 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM, and 10 GB disk. Self-hosted use is free forever. Cloud costs $5 a month plus $3 server.
Oracle Visual Builder
Oracle Visual Builder is a browser-based development service for creating and deploying web and progressive web applications. Its visual builder provides drag-and-drop components, actions, and WYSIWYG interfaces, while developers can customize applications with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. Apps can use custom data objects and connect to catalogued or external REST services. Teams can access business objects from Oracle Cloud Applications and extend those applications with custom tabs or menu options. Extensions can use the same users and roles as Oracle Cloud Applications without a separate login. Visual Builder is described as a managed development and hosting service with a web server and embedded database for application data. Published apps run in the cloud and can be accessed from desktop or mobile devices. Administrators can require authentication, and developers can configure role-based access and business object permissions, including row-level conditions for viewing, updating, and deleting data. Communication with underlying JET components is secured over HTTPS and REST. Oracle positions the product for teams extending Oracle Cloud Applications and building web or mobile apps with minimal coding. A 30-day trial is offered; no free plan is listed.
