Core Direction
Core Direction is a fitness app for Android and iOS that uses a phone camera to assess the body, guide workouts, and show changes over time. Its AI Body Scan creates a personalized body analysis, while AI Workouts adapt to fitness level and provide live guidance and form feedback. The maker says its AI Personal Trainer can work without gym equipment and create bodyweight sessions. Core Coach answers questions about activity, Core Points, scans, workouts, habits, progress, and app use. Wearable connections support activity tracking, with guides for Apple Health on iOS and Google Health Connect on Android and instructions for Garmin, Oura, WHOOP, Huawei, Amazfit, Xiaomi, Polar, Suunto, Withings, and COROS. Members can organize events, invite others, and participate in challenges and competitions. Premium features are available for seven days without a card; afterward, the app returns to basic activity tracking unless you pay. Core Direction Premium costs $9.99/month, billed monthly, and can be cancelled anytime. AI workouts earn one Core Point per minute, up to 10 points per day.
Freeletics
Freeletics offers personalized training across HIIT, calisthenics, gym and weight training, cardio, running, strength, and weight loss. Its Coach adapts training plans using personal information, preferences, and completed sessions. Training Journeys cover bodyweight, running, and weights, with goals such as endurance, speed, strength, muscle building, and weight loss. Workouts can be adjusted for time, equipment, noise, intensity, or body areas to exclude. The free Training app includes selected warm-ups, cool-downs, God Workouts, individual exercises, and runs; a Coach subscription unlocks all workouts, exercises, and runs and adds a structured plan. Freeletics lists an exercise library of 100 exercises and supports adaptive progression, custom workout plans, equipment profiles, and AI coaching. With permission, selected activity data can be exchanged with Apple Health and Google Health Connect; an optional Strava connection reads activity data with explicit consent. Freeletics is available on Android, iOS, and web. Its free plan costs nothing.
