Scribens
Scribens checks grammar and spelling in written text and explains detected mistakes. It says it corrects text in more than 40 languages. The service is available on the web, iOS, Android, and as a browser extension. Listed document integrations include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, while other integrations include Outlook, Gmail, Chrome, and Firefox. The mobile app adds paraphrasing and translation. Premium includes unlimited paraphrasing in 20 tones, with listed limits of up to 5 million characters per month and 100,000 characters per check. The free plan allows 8,000 characters per day. Premium plans are listed at €990 a month when billed monthly, €2,490 a month when billed for three months, and €5,990 a year when billed annually. Scribens says transfers use SSL, Cloudflare protects its servers, and submitted texts are not stored. Activated Premium recent-text backups remain for seven days.
