In their own words
Couch
Couch is a content-saving and reading app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Its free version includes unlimited saves and basic features. Saved items can be organized with tags, folders, and smart folders, and searched by title, tag, author, or website. Users can add highlights, comments, and summaries; highlights can also be exported. A built-in reader supports offline access. Couch syncs content across Apple devices through iCloud without requiring a separate account, and browser extensions are available for Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and compatible browsers. The app says it has no sign-up, tracking, or ads, and that user data is stored in iCloud rather than tracked, mined, or sold. Apple Intelligence summaries and tag suggestions are processed on-device. Pro unlocks advanced features through a one-time in-app purchase, but no price is listed for the plans. One reviewer reported paying an extra $2.99 for Pro; that report is not a listed plan price.
Linkpack
Linkpack is a tool for saving, reading, organizing, and sharing links. Links can be captured through the iOS app, Chrome or Firefox extensions, or by dragging and dropping them into the filesystem. Linkpack says saved links stay synchronized between the app and the user’s Dropbox folder. Users can group links into Linkpacks and track reading progress, while narration supports hands-free reading. Each Linkpack can receive a unique URL for sharing or embedding in a blog. The service lists Free and Linkpack PRO plans, but no plan prices are provided. It is available through extensions and iOS. Linkpack was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece. Its terms limit use to people aged 18 or older. The privacy policy says personal information is not transferred, sold, or rented to third parties for marketing. Sharing a Dropbox folder involves collecting file internet addresses, creation dates, the user’s full name, and OAuth credentials used to download the folder’s files.
