In their own words
CoverageBook
CoverageBook is an online PR reporting tool for agencies and in-house public relations teams. Users add links to online articles and social posts or upload print clippings, video or audio files, and custom slides. For supported coverage, it gathers screenshots, Estimated Views, social shares and outlet audience statistics. Reports can be shared online or exported as PDFs or CSV/Excel files. Supported link sources include YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Twitch, Spotify, Facebook, LinkedIn and online news articles. Print and broadcast items can have custom metrics, but those metrics are not sourced automatically. CoverageBook does not monitor coverage or alert users; users select items and add them to reports. Bronze costs $99 a month, cancellable at any time, and allows 100 clips per month and up to 5 users. A 30-day trial is available, but there is no free plan. The service was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Brighton, United Kingdom.
Propel
Propel is a web-based media relations platform combining a media database, journalist pitching, press release distribution, media monitoring, and analytics and reporting. Propel gives no plan prices and lists pricing as available on request. The service runs on the web. It was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel. Its capabilities cover media research, outreach, distribution, and monitoring, with analytics and reporting also listed for reviewing results.
