CPRemote
CPRemote is cPanel backup software for server administrators and cPanel users. Administrators receive WHM tools, while end users manage backups through a cPanel interface. It supports incremental, compressed, and uncompressed backups with seven days of retention. Destinations include Google Drive, Backblaze B2, Rsync.net, AWS S3, S3-compatible storage, local disk, SSH, FTP, and SFTP. GNU GPG encryption can use user-specific methods. Administrators can create unlimited schedules with filters and hooks, and cPanel users can schedule their own backups. Restores cover full or multiple cPanel accounts, domains, MySQL databases, email accounts, home directories, and individual files or folders. Transfer and download tools are included. Installation requires root access to cPanel 11.122 or higher and a supported Linux distribution. A 15-day trial is listed; Individual costs $5 a month with annual payments only.
Rubrik Security Cloud
Rubrik Security Cloud protects data across enterprise, cloud and SaaS environments while helping organizations monitor risk and recover data and applications. Its air-gapped, immutable backups are designed to guard against deletion, modification or encryption by attackers. Threat monitoring looks for ransomware and other risks, including anomalies, data destruction and indicators of compromise. Sensitive Data Monitoring discovers and classifies sensitive information and can alert on potential policy violations. Recovery capabilities include threat containment and simulations for validating recovery workflows. Supported workloads include AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft 365, Jira, Salesforce, databases, Kubernetes, NAS and virtual machines. The GraphQL API exposes workloads, policies, events and recovery. The product supports MFA and SAML or OIDC identity-provider federation. Rubrik says cloud data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest with AES-256. It can be configured in SaaS or software mode; the latter provides standalone on-premises access to Rubrik CDM. Pricing is available on request.
