Create Comic vs MangaMaker

Create Comic turns written scenes into comic pages that users can refine, add covers to, and export as a book. Each generation creates one complete page, and users can assemble a book in sequence from earlier pages. Layout choices include six-panel, four-panel, three-stacked-panel, Story-page, and full-page illustration formats. Users can regenerate a page, repair an individual panel, and browse saved page and cover versions. Exports are available as separate images, a 5 × 8-inch print PDF, or a Kindle EPUB. The service also creates portraits from a photo or personal details using a curated style. The free plan provides one lifetime generation shared across comics and portraits. Create Comic Pro costs $19 a month for 30 generations each month; subscription generations reset each billing period and do not roll over. A one-time 30-generation pack costs 29.99 USD, and a one-time Gift Pack costs 9.99 USD. The listed platform is web. The maker says private portrait photos, prompts, and generated assets are not used as marketing examples or training data without separate permission.

MangaMaker is an online AI platform for creating manga, anime-style art, and comic pages. Text prompts can generate complete pages or individual panels, which users arrange in a canvas editor with drag-and-drop panels, speech bubbles, and manga layouts. Preset grids, panel breaks, resizable panels, and reusable layouts support page composition. The Character Library uses reference images and descriptions to help maintain a character’s appearance across panels. Text tools include vertical and horizontal writing, manga fonts, speech and thought bubbles, and sound-effect lettering. Exports include shareable PNGs and print-friendly files; PDF export is available on Pro and Creator. The service runs in modern browsers, including mobile browsers, though a desktop or tablet is recommended for the canvas editor. It is presented for creators, teachers, marketers, writers, and people without drawing skills. The Free plan costs nothing and includes 10 credits, three projects, 300 DPI export, and watermarked exports. Paid plans start at $19 per month.
