In their own words
CrushFTP
CrushFTP is a file transfer server for secure transfers across a range of operating systems. Administrators can manage users, preferences, reports and plugins in a web browser. Supported secure protocols include FTPES, FTPS, SFTP, SCP and HTTPS; authentication options include LDAP, RADIUS, SAML and OAuth, with MFA/OTP validation available. Files can be encrypted in transit and at rest using PGP. The server connects to storage and services including S3, Google Drive, Azure, Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, Box, SMB and Hadoop. Enterprise tools include scheduling, monitoring, automated reporting, DMZ capability and high availability through session replication. CrushSync synchronizes files in real time and can send changed portions of large files with compression. The web interface supports resumable transfers, WebDAV clients for iOS and Android, thumbnails, slideshows and movie playback. The full normal-license download has a 30-day trial; the site says only CrushFTP 11 is currently supported. Plans include a Small Business option at $70 a month, listed as a perpetual license.
SFTPGo
SFTPGo is a managed file transfer platform for secure file exchange, storage, and workflow automation. It supports SFTP, FTPS, WebDAV, and browser access through a WebClient. Storage can use local filesystems, S3-compatible services, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, or other SFTP servers. Scheduled and event-driven workflows can notify users, move files between storage backends, ingest IMAP attachments, or use the REST API and Terraform provider. Authentication options include passwords, public keys, multi-step authentication, two-factor authentication, and OpenID Connect single sign-on. Listed protections include encryption at rest and in transit, brute-force auto-blocking, granular access controls, and audit logs. File and folder links can have password or email authentication, expiry dates, and download limits. Integrations include Collabora Online, ICAP, LDAP, Active Directory, and Entra ID. The Open Source edition is a production-ready community edition under AGPLv3. SaaS plans start at €50 a month, with a 10-day trial; Tiny and Small are not suited to installations with many simultaneous connections. Enterprise deployment supports Linux, Windows, Docker, or Kubernetes.
