In their own words
CubiCasa
CubiCasa converts a smartphone property scan into real estate floor plans and related media. Its products include 2D and 3D plans, interactive tours, 3D video renders, CAD files, GLA reports, and home reports. The maker says scanning an average 2,000-square-foot home takes about 4–6 minutes, and 2D plans are delivered in less than 24 hours; eligible orders have a six-hour option. The free LITE plan includes a 2D plan with room dimensions in PNG or JPG. Basic 2D plans are free in the United States, while users elsewhere receive at least one free plan. Other plans add features such as area calculations, styling, fixtures, tours, and reports; PLUS 3D adds furniture, colors, and textures. The service runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Eligible hosted plans can appear on Redfin and Realtor.com listings, and an API connects a customer's order management system to the platform and app. CubiCasa reports average tested measurement accuracy of 95%–97%, with results varying by scanning conditions and device. It was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Oulu, Finland.
Room Arranger
Room Arranger is a design program for arranging rooms, apartments, houses, floor plans, and gardens with furniture and other objects. Projects can cover multiple floors and be viewed in 3D using walk-through or fly-around modes. On supported iPhone Pro and iPad Pro devices with LiDAR, room scanning can create a project with walls, doors, windows, and recognized furnishings or equipment. The standard library contains nearly 300 objects with adjustable dimensions; users can also build custom objects and import 3D models. Room Arranger 11 and later supports GLB, glTF, OBJ, PLY, STL, X3D, X3DV, and X3DZ imports. Users can trace walls over imported floor-plan images, measure room and wall areas, and copy those measurements to Excel. Plans can be printed to scale, including 1:50 and 1:100, or made into a web page containing a floor plan and 3D scene. The software supports Windows, macOS, Linux, and iPad. A desktop license for one computer costs $24.95 as a one-time purchase and includes future releases; a 30-day trial is available, but there is no free plan.
