In their own words
Cuppa Studio
Cuppa Studio turns Markdown into animated, timeline-driven technical presentation slides. Its AI can generate decks from a topic or outline, including code blocks, diagrams, charts and narration. In the browser-based Studio, users can edit presentations live, preview changes and provide follow-up instructions to refine them. The product supports 17 element types, including Mermaid diagrams, cards, counters and terminal simulations. Auto Drive generates narration for each slide, reads it aloud and advances the presentation. Presentations can be shared through a link that viewers can open without an account, and exported as Markdown, standalone HTML or.cup files. The maker also describes an MCP server connecting Cuppa Studio to Claude, Cursor and other AI tools. Browser-created projects auto-save locally in IndexedDB. Cuppa Studio has a free plan and paid plans from $5 a month. The free plan permits up to 15 slides per presentation; Starter costs $5 a month and raises the limit to 25 slides. The CLI requires Node.js 18 or later, and its AI generation guide requires an ANTHROPIC_API_KEY.
deckhost
deckhost turns plain-text enhanced Markdown into presentations that can be published as shareable links. Users edit slide text directly and see a live preview; presentations support keyboard navigation, fullscreen mode, 12 reveal styles, math styling, syntax highlighting and background controls. AI use can rely on the user's Anthropic or OpenAI API key, and the product provides an MCP server for Claude Desktop and Claude Code. VS Code and Cursor extensions add live preview, speaker notes and one-click publishing. deckhost can import Marp frontmatter and map common directives to its own equivalents. Local work through the CLI, MCP server and presentation engine is free forever and needs no account; the CLI can also build static HTML for separate hosting. Published decks open in a browser without an account. The free plan is free, billed forever, with five published public decks and 100 API calls per day. Pro is $20 a month, and Team is $29 a month.
