CurseForge
CurseForge is a catalog for finding and downloading Minecraft mods and modpacks. Its Minecraft browse page lists Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, and Quilt, and displays more than 10,000 projects. Users can filter by game version and see dependency information, download tracking, and mod collections. The free web catalog provides access to Minecraft mods and modpacks, which the page describes as free. Premium access is available on the web and desktop client. Premium removes ads across CurseForge platforms and the desktop client, enables direct downloads without waiting delays, and includes custom themes and layout customization in the desktop experience. The monthly subscription is $2.99 per month. The annual subscription is $30.00 billed annually, listed from $35.88 with a 16% saving. Subscribers can cancel at any time and retain access through the billing cycle. Refunds are generally not offered, although exceptions may be considered individually. After Premium access ends, an account returns to free membership. CurseForge says mod authors receive 70% of subscription income.
OpenRA Resource Center
OpenRA Resource Center is a free website for sharing maps and other game-related files within the OpenRA community. It supports standard, advanced, and modded maps, as well as missions, for three games. Players can upload a map and select it in a game they host or join; other players joining can automatically download it. Browsing filters cover mod, category, format, parser, tileset, player count, author, and uploader, with search by title, description, or hash. Listings show details including author, uploader, revision, player count, comments, and rating. Users can view revisions and maps with reports, or filter for duplicates, advanced maps, Lua maps, and outdated maps. The Map API supports map downloads and information retrieval by hash or ID, including details for the newest map. Map information is returned as JSON, with YAML available by adding a `/yaml/` URL prefix. The site documents map storage locations for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. Sign-in supports local accounts and social login. Upload rules limit submissions to OpenRA-related files and require written permission for another person's work.
