Curve Dental
Curve Dental is cloud-based practice management and patient engagement software for dental practices of all sizes. Its tools cover scheduling, clinical records, imaging, online forms, and patient communication. Patients can self-schedule, see statements, and pay online; practices can send automated reminders by email or text and provide a secure patient portal. Customizable Smart Forms send submitted information into the practice database. Clinical capabilities include charting, treatment plans, historical imaging, graphical tooth status, and voice perio charting. Native imaging integrates with most image-capturing devices, stores images in the cloud, and supports sharing or attachment. Curve Mobile includes schedule controls, patient profiles, secure two-way texting, MMS management, and click-to-call. Listed integrations span payments and financing, patient engagement, reputation management, eSolutions, VoIP, and business intelligence. Curve was founded in 2004 and serves dental professionals in the United States and Canada. Supported platforms are Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. Curve Hero requires an internet-connected PC or Mac and the latest Google Chrome; pricing is on request.
Practice Better
Practice Better is an EHR and practice-management platform for health and wellness professionals, including nutritionists, dietitians, health coaches, and holistic healthcare providers. It combines scheduling, charting, journaling, billing and insurance, payments, reporting, protocols, and automations. Practitioners can offer telehealth, group sessions, programs, and courses, while clients can use a portal, secure messaging, and a mobile app. The platform is available on Android, iOS, and supported desktop and mobile web browsers. Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe, supports online and in-person payments, stored billing information, and payment plans. The company says it complies with HIPAA, PIPEDA, PHIPA, and GDPR and encrypts data in transit and at rest. The free Sprout plan allows three active clients, 100 MB of storage, and one practitioner license. Paid plans start at $25/user/mo when billed annually; monthly plan prices are also listed, and trial length varies by plan. Practice Better says linking Zapier sends client contact information outside the platform and is not HIPAA-compliant for protected health information.
