In their own words

Customizable Player Models

Customizable Player Models is a free, MIT-licensed project for creating custom avatars for Minecraft Java Edition. Its editor lets users alter vanilla player parts, add custom model parts and textures, and hide or move pieces of the normal player model. Textures can be animated, and parts of a skin can glow. Models must be exported and loaded by uploading the exported image as a Minecraft skin; exported models can also be stored in unused skin space or as a GitHub Gist. Export options include a Minecraft skin file, .cpmmodel, and Base64 model data. The maker lists mod downloads for Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt across Minecraft versions. An optional Bukkit/Spigot plugin supports in-game skin changes and offers the same features as installing the mod on a Forge or Fabric server. Voice chat animations need separate compatibility mods. ViveCraft support is listed, and OSC-driven animations require the CPM OSC compatibility addon. The model-sharing site is under development; the project links to Discord for support and bug reports.

Minecraft Character Maker

Minecraft Character Maker is a free browser tool for assembling a Minecraft character skin without drawing. Start with one of six body tones, then choose options for hair, fringe, face details, jacket, sleeves, and pants. A hue slider changes a selected piece's color while retaining its shading and pattern, and shuffle produces a random complete look. The front and back preview updates as the character is built. The tool downloads a standard 64×64 PNG skin and supports both Minecraft editions. Its instructions describe applying exported skins through Profile → Skins in Java Edition or Dressing Room → Classic Skin in Bedrock. Users can also open the built skin in the full pixel editor, which the page describes as including layers, brushes, and a 3D preview. The maker says its browser-based tools run locally and require no sign-up or installation. The site says the online skin editor is powered by Blockbench. It also states that the product is not official and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
