Cymath
Cymath solves math problems step by step using artificial intelligence and heuristics, with coverage of algebra, calculus and graphing on Android, iOS and the web. Algebra topics include equation solving, factoring, logarithms, exponents, complex numbers, quadratic equations, trigonometry, partial fraction decomposition and polynomial division. Calculus includes product, quotient and chain rules, along with u-substitution, integration by parts and trigonometric substitution. Graphing features can generate graphs and identify intercepts, asymptotes, domains and ranges. The website also offers practice problems in pre-algebra, fractions, algebra and calculus, with full solutions and steps. On iOS, a user can capture a problem with the camera instead of typing it. The free plan provides step-by-step solutions. Cymath Plus costs $5 a month and adds ad-free use, detailed sub-steps and explanations on most problems, bookmarks, solution history, definitions and examples; cancellation is available at any time.
Mathos AI (MathGPTPro)
Mathos AI, also known as MathGPTPro, is a personal AI math solver and learning tool. It accepts typed questions, worksheet photos, and PDFs, and can return a hint or a solution with worked steps. Its tutor coaches students step by step, identifies weak points, and intervenes when reasoning breaks down. Mathos says its adaptive learning uses error patterns to find missing prerequisites and adjust what a student works on next. Solutions can be turned into videos, flashcards, or quizzes, and the product can draw graphs automatically. Its video tool creates narrated, animated math explainers that users can edit live; API support is also available for developers and teams generating those videos. The AI tutor is described for students and parents, with lessons aligned to K–12 standards, SAT, AP, and IB. Mathos AI is available on Android, iOS, web, and as an extension. The Free plan includes limited MathosPro, video generation, and image input, alongside flashcards, quizzes, and graphs. The Enterprise / API Pilot plan costs $3,990 a month.
