Overview

ATLAS FORGE LLC brings together character planning, an interactive map, event tracking, guides, tier lists, and news. The focus is exclusively Diablo IV, so players looking for support across several games should choose a broader service. D4Planner says it is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.

The combination is its strongest case: build planning and exploration tools sit alongside expected event times and guides. That makes D4Planner a practical companion for players who want to plan a character and track activities without moving between separate Diablo IV resources.

Key features

Build planning and sharing

The planner covers skills, equipment, Paragon, specialization, and mercenaries, giving players more scope than a skill-tree-only tool. Save and load, import, share, and embed controls are useful for revisiting a build or passing it to someone else. Players who only need a simple skill planner may find this broader set of sections unnecessary.

Interactive map

The map tracks dungeons, Altars of Lilith, quests, bosses, vendors, events, and chests. Its export, import, and clear controls let players manage map data rather than treating the map as a static reference. That breadth is valuable for players who want to track multiple kinds of activity in one map.

Event tracking and guides

The tracker gives expected times for World Boss, Helltide, and Legion events and offers push notifications. On iOS, notifications require adding D4Planner to the home screen, an extra setup step that may deter players who expect app notifications to work immediately. Guides, tier lists, game guides, and news round out the site for players who want reference material alongside planning tools.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and provides the service at no cost, supported by advertising. That makes it a straightforward fit for players willing to see ads in exchange for access to the planner and companion features. A Discord subscription removes ads and grants a special Discord role, but its price is custom pricing.

The privacy policy says the company and advertising partners collect information for tailored ads, and that certain categories of personal information were sold through ad-supported services in the preceding 12 months. It also names Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Facebook among third-party services used by the app. The policy says internet transmission and electronic storage cannot be guaranteed absolutely secure. The service is not directed at children under 13 and says it does not knowingly collect their personal information.

Platforms

D4Planner is available on Android, iOS, and the web. The App Store lists the app as free for iPhone and iPad, requiring iOS 13 or later or iPadOS 13 or later. Players who rely on iOS push notifications should account for the home-screen setup requirement. App support is available by email, while the site points users to Discord for more prompt help.

Who it's for

D4Planner is best for Diablo IV players who want build creation, map tracking, event reminders, and guides from a single free companion. Its sharing and embedding controls also suit players who pass builds around. It is a weaker fit for anyone who wants a multi-game planner, an ad-free experience without joining a paid Discord subscription, or iOS notifications without extra setup.

World Boss, Helltide, and Legion timing plus push notifications help players keep tabs on scheduled activities.
The core plan is free and covers web and mobile platforms.

Cons

Its tools and content focus on Diablo IV alone.

Verdict

Choose D4Planner if you play Diablo IV and want character planning, map tracking, event timing, and guides gathered in a free companion. Its range of tools and sharing controls are the clearest reasons to pick it. Look elsewhere if advertising, its single-game focus, or the additional iOS notification setup outweigh that convenience.
