In their own words
Daikin Applied Building Management System
Daikin Applied Building Management System is a paid, open control platform for building mechanical systems, with Android, iOS, and web access. It is designed for new BMS installations, legacy-control upgrades, and rooftop-unit fleets across multiple sites. Operators receive real-time alerts and insights, monitor systems remotely, and submit service requests. Lifecycle analytics are described as supporting equipment life, operating-cost performance, and HVAC service contracts. The system integrates with Daikin and third-party equipment through BACnet, Lonworks, Modbus, digital and analog I/O, and legacy communication protocols. Its scale runs from unit-level control to enterprise-wide monitoring. Controls use modular components, color-coded removable terminals, universal I/O across models, and an onboard Hand-Off-Auto display for local access. Daikin names retail, schools, and commercial applications as target settings. Local service offices design, install, and maintain turnkey controls and handle availability. Daikin describes the ecosystem as secure but gives no specific controls or certifications. Pricing is available on request.
