In their own words
DailyStandup
DailyStandup is a web-based async standup tool that connects work tools and drafts team updates. Its AI Activity Log draws on commits, pull requests, tickets, and messages to prepare structured drafts. Teams can also submit manual check-ins about yesterday, today, blockers, and mood; these are designed to take about 60 seconds. Users can edit a draft or write their own update. AI summaries include blocker severity, owner tracking, and open questions, while organization-level summaries bring team progress, blockers, and health into one view. Teams can set a daily standup time and timezone, with reminders before the standup closes. Native integrations are listed for GitHub, Linear, and Slack; Jira and Figma are marked coming soon. Activity events can also be sent through a REST API or connected through MCP, which works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and compatible clients. The free plan supports up to five members on one team with seven-day history. Pro costs $8 a month, billed annually.
Standup Alice
Standup Alice is a web-based bot for running asynchronous stand-up meetings. It reminds team members to answer questions, then sends a team summary at a chosen time to multiple channels and email. Teams can customize questions for each meeting, use threaded conversations for readable summaries, and manage multiple teams and workspaces, including shared channels and members in Slack Connect. Scheduling supports multiple time zones and both synchronous and asynchronous stand-ups. The maker lists Slack, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and Google Chat among its platform options. The free plan covers Slack teams of one to four people and includes custom questions, reminders, admin summaries and reports, scheduling and time-zone integration. Paid plans describe support for larger teams, with multiple-team support, in-thread interaction, multi-channel support and invoice billing among higher-tier features. The pricing note says paid from $1.99/user/mo; plan details also list Paid - Pro at $1 a month, billed per user/month. Its full-featured free trial lasts six weeks, requires no credit card and may be longer for some teams.
