Darwin
Darwin is Mercer’s global employee benefits platform for administering benefits and helping employees learn about, enroll in and manage them. Employees use a personalized digital experience that includes mobile enrollment, while employers can customize the interface and content to reflect their brand. The platform’s Reward, Control and Analytics centers serve employees, administrators and decision makers. It automates enrollment, eligibility, life-event and open-enrollment processes. Analytics cover benefits usage and costs, benchmarking, and scenario tools for plan decisions and cost control. Darwin connects with HR and payroll systems and Mercer Marsh Benefits’ Benefits You App, and can centralize benefits across locations and countries. Employees can submit reimbursement claims from a desktop, laptop or smartphone; approved claims are reimbursed in their next pay packet. Mercer describes privacy protections including GDPR compliance, employee consent capture, data minimization and auditable logs. AI features vary across regional pages: the US page lists AI Chat Assistant and AI Creative Assistant, while the UK page describes the chat assistant as coming soon and other assistants as in development. Darwin is available on web, Android and iOS. Pricing is on request.
OnePoint Benefits Enrollment
OnePoint Benefits Enrollment lets eligible employees research, compare, and enroll in benefits through a paper-free process. Its self-service portal guides enrollment step by step, displays progress, supports e-signatures, and sends alerts. Employees can access information 24/7 and enroll from a desktop or mobile device; mobile access is through a browser. Employers can configure the system for any benefit plan electronically. Eligibility profiles and rules determine which plans employees can select and which fields they must complete. OnePoint says its benefits administration solution can submit enrollment data to carriers and send premium and cost data to payroll. Administration features include carrier and 401(k) data feeds, real-time eligibility tracking, COBRA administration, FSA timelines and tools, and alerts for incomplete packets. Reporting covers enrollment and costs, premium reconciliation, and configured benefits and ACA needs. The HCM platform is described as cloud-based, accessible from any device, and requiring no software installation or manual updates. Pricing is on request; per-employee-per-month pricing is mentioned without a specific amount. The listed platforms are Android, iOS, and web.
