Data Dynamics StorageX
Data Dynamics StorageX automates policy-driven migration of unstructured data for enterprise data-center transitions, cloud migrations, and storage optimization. It supports file-to-file, file-to-object, and object-to-object moves across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, including projects the vendor describes as petabyte-scale. Automated policies replicate source files, including complete shares or exports, while migration can preserve, repermission, or remap access controls. Baseline and incremental copies support phased moves while data remains available. Namespace management can update DFS links to switch from an old destination to a new one at cutover. Named platforms include Azure, OneDrive, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, EMC, NetApp, Windows, UNIX/Linux, Hitachi Content Platform, NetApp StorageGRID, Dell ECS, IBM Cloud Object Storage, and S3-compatible object storage. StorageX runs on Linux, Windows, or self-hosted deployments. Pricing is on request under a terabyte-consumption model. Customers provide Microsoft SQL Server licenses; larger projects require Standard or Enterprise.
