In their own words
DataBrain
DataBrain is an embedded analytics platform for B2B SaaS product and engineering teams. It adds multi-tenant, white-label dashboards and natural-language analytics inside a software product. Data can come from Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Postgres, spreadsheets, and web APIs. Teams define versioned, auditable metrics with a Visual Builder, Custom SQL, or AI Chat Mode. Embedding options include React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, iframes, and web components; developers can also use the npm package and REST API guest tokens. DataBrain says every query is scoped by tenant key, with row and column rules enforced at the query layer. It stores metadata while data remains in the customer’s warehouse, with data-residency options. The maker describes GDPR compliance, SOC 2 auditing, ISO 27001 certification, HIPAA readiness with optional BAA, CCPA support, AES-256 storage encryption, and SSL/TLS in transit.
Yellowfin Embedded Analytics
Yellowfin Embedded Analytics provides white-label analytics that software vendors can integrate into their products and user experience. Customers can embed pre-built dashboards or let their users create dashboards through self-service reporting and Guided Natural Language Query. Integration options include a full page or iFrame, or individual dashboards, reports and stories. Signals analyzes customer data and notifies users when it detects changes. Yellowfin Stories and Present combine charts and tables with narrative for reports, summaries and customer overviews; custom JavaScript visualizations are also supported. Connectors cover CRM, ERP, databases, marketing, accounting and collaboration applications, including Salesforce, Snowflake and Google BigQuery. Deployment can be self-managed on premises or in the cloud, or fully managed and hosted. Yellowfin's security guide says it achieved a SOC 2 Type 2 assessment and that its internal Tomcat instance supports TLS 1.2. Pricing is on request, with models based on analytics usage, server cores or revenue share. A 30-day trial is available on a user's own dataset, with sample data for exploration.
