Dataclay Templater
Dataclay Templater is an After Effects plugin for creating data-driven templates and producing personalized or localized videos. It imports information from Google Sheets, tab-separated files, JSON text files, remote JSON feeds, or Dataclay QUE campaigns. Inside compositions, it can alter text, images, branding, graphic elements, colors, and embedded footage. Adobe Media Encoder supports batch rendering. The Bot option adds command-line control, event scripts, background processing, and triggers for automated video workflows; Rig prepares projects, maps data to layers, and previews changes, while Pro handles batch renders or composition replication. Right-to-left and international-language text work when installed fonts provide required glyphs. Platforms listed are API, macOS, self-hosted, and Windows, with After Effects CS5 through AE 2026 or AE Beta required. The first installation starts a watermarked 30-day trial. There is no free plan or built-in front-end, web, or mobile application.
