In their own words
DATAflor LANDXPERT
DATAflor LANDXPERT is CAD software for property and landscape planning, combining Autodesk-powered CAD with tools developed for landscape architecture. It supports professional plans, 3D views, and foundations for photorealistic visualizations. Planting tools include plant objects and data, views as symbols, photos, watercolors, or 3D, and AI-assisted editable care instructions. LANDXPERT calculates areas, lengths, volumes, and earthwork volumes directly from CAD drawings. Its BIM Manager imports IFC files with 3D geometry and object information for planning, execution, and billing. Georeferenced plans can transfer to excavator and machine-control systems through LANDXML or DXF. The web version creates and edits drawings in a browser without local CAD installation and links them to myDataflor project information. Integrations include BUSINESS, MEASURE now PRO, LANDSKETCH, and Dataflor apps. It runs on Windows and in a web browser. Pricing starts at €106/mo with a 15-day trial; no free plan is listed.
Planner 5D
Planner 5D lets users create home, landscape, and office floor plans and designs in 2D and 3D. Users can draw plans, furnish and decorate rooms, and switch between the two views. Its AI tools are described as helping generate ideas, explore layouts, and test styles. Existing JPG, PNG, PDF, DWG, and DXF plans can be uploaded for recognition; PRO users can export 2D plans in DWG or DXF. The free plan costs nothing, has no time limit, and includes unlimited projects, core 2D/3D design, and half the furniture catalogue. Paid pricing is listed from $19.99/mo. Premium is $59.99 a year; Professional is $399.99 a year. Projects sync across supported devices using the same account, but Android-only subscriptions do not support cross-platform synchronization. Planner 5D lists Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. It is described for non-professionals, homeowners, renovators, design enthusiasts, interior designers, architects, and studios.
