Nonym
Nonym is a privacy layer for applications that send data to SaaS vendors. Its AI Proxy uses named entity recognition to find personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, SSNs, card details, API keys, and postal addresses. Before a prompt is sent, detected values are replaced with structured tokens; values are restored in the response before it returns to the app. The proxy works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, and OpenAI-compatible APIs, and supports streaming. Nonym states that processing adds under 20ms overhead. Request logs can include detection counts, PII categories, and confidence scores; full audit trails are available on paid plans. Managed Cloud token mappings stay in memory for the request and are not written to disk. The platform also offers data inventory, discovery, DSAR and retention management, and regulatory workflows. Community is free for non-commercial self-hosting. Cloud is $49 per month plus $0.50 per 10K requests; Self-Host License is $99 per month. Enterprise pricing is custom, starting ~$2,500/month.
