In their own words

DatoCMS

DatoCMS is a headless CMS for managing content centrally and delivering it through APIs. Its no-code schema builder lets teams define content types, fields, validations, and visibility options. Editors can work with modular content and structured text, make visual edits, schedule publishing, and collaborate live. Projects can contain multiple languages through locales. The system manages images, videos, documents, and audio, with assets delivered through a CDN using imgix and Mux. Its Content Delivery API uses GraphQL, so clients can request the response data shape they need. Marketplace options include starter kits for Next.js, Nuxt, SvelteKit, and Astro, plus build integrations for Netlify, Vercel, GitLab, and custom webhooks. DatoCMS is presented for developers, digital marketers, content creators, and enterprise teams. It offers a 14-day trial and a Free plan at free. Professional is €149,199 a month, with annual billing at €149/month or monthly billing at €199/month.

Sanity

Sanity is a web-based content platform for building websites, mobile products, content applications, and customer-facing or internal agents. It supports GraphQL and GROQ, localization, custom role permissions, webhooks, content previews, and asset transformations. Teams can edit together with real-time collaboration and multiplayer presence, while revisions are stored for every document. Functions can automate content operations and trigger when datasets change. The Free plan costs nothing and includes up to 20 user seats, two public-only datasets, unlimited content types and locales, and community support. Viewer-role users do not use a seat; other user types do. Growth costs $15 a month and can be tried for free. Enterprise pricing is custom, with SAML single sign-on, dedicated support, an uptime SLA, and custom usage quotas. SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA compliance are included across plans. Sanity's MCP Server connects the platform to Cursor, Claude Code, v0, and other tools.
