In their own words
Day One Branding
Day One Branding is a free web name generator for company, brand, and startup ideas. Users describe a business and can steer suggestions toward modern, playful, classic, or technical styles. The maker says its proprietary naming model takes phonetics, rhythm, brand fit, and top-level domain conventions into account. More ideas can be requested without repeating names already shown. Suggestions are paired with domain status from a live feed, marked Available, Taken, or Unknown. Users can copy a suggestion or go to a registrar to try registering its domain; Day One Branding is not a registrar. No account is required, and the service is currently free at free, though usage limits may be introduced later. Briefs are not used to train or fine-tune the model, nor shared with third-party AI providers for their training, but may appear briefly in operational logs typically retained for 30 days or less. The maker lists TLS in transit and restricted, least-privilege production access among its safeguards. Generated names are not cleared for trademarks, and domain status can change before registration.
DotFind
DotFind turns a business idea into 100 brandable domain name suggestions and checks whether they are available across multiple top-level domains. It scores names for brandability, memorability, and linguistic quality. The maker says Claude generates suggestions from a user’s description, and availability checks use Google and Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS, with 15 checks running in parallel. Available domains link to registrars such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, Dynadot, and Hostinger. Users can save favorites and receive email when a previously taken name becomes available. A one-time Brand Kit includes logo files, palette, typography, mockups, and a brand guide for commercial use; kits also link to trademark search tools. DotFind does not provide legal clearance. The free plan costs nothing and allows two daily searches anonymously or five with an account, showing the top 20 results. Pro · Monthly costs $9 a month. Brand Kit · One-time costs $39, paid once. DotFind runs on the web.
