In their own words
Day One Branding
Day One Branding is a free web name generator for company, brand, and startup ideas. Users describe a business and can steer suggestions toward modern, playful, classic, or technical styles. The maker says its proprietary naming model takes phonetics, rhythm, brand fit, and top-level domain conventions into account. More ideas can be requested without repeating names already shown. Suggestions are paired with domain status from a live feed, marked Available, Taken, or Unknown. Users can copy a suggestion or go to a registrar to try registering its domain; Day One Branding is not a registrar. No account is required, and the service is currently free at free, though usage limits may be introduced later. Briefs are not used to train or fine-tune the model, nor shared with third-party AI providers for their training, but may appear briefly in operational logs typically retained for 30 days or less. The maker lists TLS in transit and restricted, least-privilege production access among its safeguards. Generated names are not cleared for trademarks, and domain status can change before registration.
namemyapp
namemyapp generates business-name ideas and checks domain availability before presenting results. The site says Claude shapes distinct, pronounceable suggestions around a user’s pitch and checks more than 500 top-level domains, including.com,.app,.io and.ai. Its brand kit can provide an AI logo, color palette, type pairing and social avatars. It can also create an editable one-page site and deploy it to the user’s domain. Domain tools include editable DNS records, email forwarding, and SSL and WHOIS privacy for purchased domains. Developers can use a REST API with bearer keys for name generation, domain tasks, DNS management and brand assets. An MCP server and CLI provide additional integrations, including for coding agents. The free Explorer plan includes unlimited name generation and 1,000 API calls per day; Founder is $49.99 a month, Launch Stack is $99, paid once, and Agency is $199 a month. The site lists community support for Explorer and priority email support for Founder.
