DaySmart Salon
DaySmart Salon is salon management software for scheduling, payments, reminders, reporting, and related business work. It is intended for hair salons, barbershops, nail salons, skin clinics, independent stylists, and suite renters, and supports multiple locations. Clients can book through a salon website, Instagram, Facebook, or a Google Business listing; bookings can require salon approval. Automated text and email reminders, two-way text confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling, and upfront deposits help manage appointments. The built-in payment processing accepts card, contactless, and mobile payments, with funds deposited the next business day. Staff tools include commission calculations, performance tracking, digital time clocks, and per-staff reporting. The mobile app lets users add, book, and check out clients, and a desktop version is available. Basic costs $29 a month and includes one user, online booking, appointment confirmations, social booking, payment processing, and online deposits. There is no free plan, though a 14-day trial is listed. QuickBooks Online connection requires a separate subscription and is limited to eligible US customers on Deluxe, Premier, or Platinum.
Pxier Salon
Pxier Salon is a cloud platform for hair, beauty and nail salons, barbershops, and businesses with one or multiple locations. Its calendar handles walk-ins and appointments together, checking stylist, chair and station availability to avoid conflicts. The POS covers service and retail sales, tips, split transactions by stylist, refunds, and payment by cash, checks, cards, coupons or gift cards. Client records can hold color and chemical formulas, service history, preferences and allergies. Salons can sell prepaid service packages and recurring memberships with automated monthly billing. Listed integrations include QuickBooks, Xero and Sage, as well as third-party calendars, payment processors and loyalty or rewards services. The RESTful API supports creating and updating client, appointment, transaction, service and product data. Pxier’s salon app is available for iPhone and Android, and is free for businesses subscribed to its salon cloud software. The service is also available on the web. Essentials is $10 a month per station or chair, with a $49 minimum; Professional is $15 a month with a $79 minimum; Enterprise is $20 a month with a $129 minimum.
