DebtBook

DebtBook provides cloud-based software for finance teams managing debt, cash, leases, and subscriptions. It is built for government and nonprofit finance teams, including public finance teams in higher education and healthcare. Its Treasury Management System brings debt, cash, and investments together. Debt Management centralizes debt data for accounting, year-end reporting, payment schedules, continuing disclosure, refunding tracking, and new issue structuring. Cash Management supports forecasting, fraud detection, cash positioning, transaction categorization, and forecast-to-actual variance analysis. Lease and Subscription Management handles tracking, accounting, and reporting for GASB 87, GASB 96, and ASC 842 arrangements. Other listed capabilities include contract management and investment management, with features such as contract processing and scenario-based portfolio analysis. ERP integration is an add-on for Debt Accounting; Cash Management supports direct API and SFTP bank integrations. The Trust Center lists SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 1 and 2, and CSA STAR Level One certifications. Pricing depends on organization size and needs, requires a custom quote, and no free trial is offered. Plans include ongoing support from DebtBook experts, and the maker says implementation aims to get teams operational in 90 days or less.

ROU Asset

ROU Asset is a web-based lease accounting tool for ASC 842 lessee accounting under US GAAP. It classifies leases, builds amortization schedules, drafts journal entries and exports files for a general ledger. The product supports finance and operating schedules with cent rounding and invariant checks, plus lifecycle actions such as reassessment, impairment, modification, termination, abandonment and transition. Reports include maturity analysis, lease costs and quantitative disclosures, liability and right-of-use roll-forwards, current and non-current splits, a lease register and cash forecasts. Uploading a signed lease PDF lets Claude extract terms, rent steps, free months, options and initial costs for review. Listed integrations include QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Odoo, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365, with CSV and XLSX exports. The free plan costs nothing and supports up to five leases. Pro starts at $99 a month or $999 a year, with unlimited leases and users for one organization and no per-seat or per-lease charges. IFRS 16 is on the roadmap.
