In their own words
DeepFilterNet
DeepFilterNet is a free, open-source framework for speech enhancement on full-band 48 kHz audio, using deep filtering. Its command-line tool suppresses noise in WAV files, with 48 kHz as its only supported sampling rate. A LADSPA plugin provides real-time noise suppression and can be used with PipeWire filter chains to create a virtual microphone or audio output, including for VoIP apps such as Zoom or Discord. The plugin's minimum latency is 20 ms from STFT processing, plus any delay added by the LADSPA host. The Rust command-line tool defaults to DeepFilterNet2; the Python interface documents DeepFilterNet and DeepFilterNet2. An optional post-filter may slightly over-attenuate very noisy sections. The framework supports Linux, macOS and Windows, though training is tested only under Linux. The Python package installs as deepfilternet, and an optional train extra adds data-loading functionality for Linux training. Code is available under either the MIT License or Apache License 2.0.
SW360
SW360 is an open-source catalogue and repository for organizing software component information across an organization. It records components, releases, and projects, manages license information and obligations, and supports workflows that produce license-related documents. Software Bill of Materials management is listed as a use case, with SPDX RDF/XML and CycloneDX import formats. SW360 also collects vulnerability information and matches it with components in its component service. A REST API exposes its functions, with documented HTTP Basic, API token, OAuth2, and Keycloak authentication options. The recommended version 20 deployment uses Docker- or Podman-compatible containers for the frontend, Keycloak, CouchDB, and Spring Boot backend. SW360 can trigger FOSSology clearing and import its reports, while FOSSology performs license scanning. SW360 itself does not scan licenses or source code. The project is free, licensed under EPL-2.0, and designed for self-managed deployment. Version 20.1.0 is listed as dated July 29, 2026.
