In their own words
Deepsky
Deepsky is a warehouse execution system from Exotec that links a warehouse management system to warehouse automation through one orchestration layer. It covers processes from receiving and storage to order preparation and dispatch. Using real-time information, it coordinates order release, replenishment, and picking, while planning around logistics constraints such as truck departure schedules. It identifies the contents and locations of bins, cases, and containers; dashboards show live KPIs, system status, and performance insights. Deepsky coordinates robots and operators and can prioritize actions. Exotec says it communicates with robots, conveyors, automated arms, scales, carton formers, and labelling machines regardless of communication protocol. It can aggregate real-time and historical data from Exotec robots and third-party suppliers, and supports multi-site management, API access, and simulation tools. Exotec describes it as workflow-based and says software updates continue after go-live. Its server is duplicated for backup, and the company offers 24/7 Control Center assistance and maintenance contracts.
