DesignCap
DesignCap is a web-based graphic design tool for creating posters, flyers, infographics, and other materials. It offers thousands of templates and a built-in collection of illustrations, shapes, fonts, stock photos, and icons. Users can choose a template, customize it, then export work to a computer or share it online. Listed formats include presentations, reports, charts, brochures, menus, cards, invitations, and social media graphics. DesignCap says it works in popular browsers on Mac, Windows, and Linux, and recommends Chrome 14 or higher, Internet Explorer 10 or higher, Firefox 10 or higher, and Safari 7 or higher. The free plan allows five image uploads, five saved designs, and JPG exports, with limited templates and stock media choices. Paid monthly plans are Basic at $8.99 a month and Plus at $12.99 a month. Both include unlimited templates, stock icons, and modules, plus high-resolution PNG and PDF exports; Basic allows 100 uploads and saved designs, while Plus allows 1,000 of each. Annual plans are Basic at $4.99 a year and Plus at $5.99 a year.
Genially
Genially is a cloud-based web app for creating interactive presentations, courses, quizzes and games. Users add interactions and animations by selecting elements and choosing actions, without coding. The platform includes thousands of customizable templates, illustration tools, presentation design, a Brand Kit and real-time collaboration, with simultaneous editing and comments on drafts or published content. Analytics report visits, responses and interactions. AI tools generate content, and Genially says user data and designs are not used to train AI models. Courses can publish to LMS or LXP platforms through LTI 1.3, SCORM 1.2 or an iframe, including Moodle, Canvas and Google Classroom integrations. Genially states SOC 2 Type 2 certification and GDPR, FERPA and COPPA compliance; data is stored in AWS Ireland and encrypted in transit and at rest. The web-only product has a Free plan at free, with 1,000+ templates and resources, 2 GB storage and 500 AI credits yearly. Paid plans are billed annually.
