Overview

Deskie brings workspace administration and member services together rather than concentrating on bookings alone. Operators can manage memberships, assignments, passes, assets, floor layouts, fractional offices, events, and bookable resources, alongside check-ins, tours, waitlists, schedules, staff tasks, time clock, and team management. That scope makes it a plausible central system for a workspace with varied operations; buyers should still match the plan to their member count and location needs.

The company says coworking operators built Deskie from experience with existing management products. It offers product documentation and directs users who need help to contact support.

Key features

Space and operations

Resource bookings, membership plans, space assignments, and passes cover the allocation side of the business, while tours, check-ins, schedules, waitlists, and staff workflows address daily operations. Event management and fractional offices extend the system to more than conventional desk reservations. This breadth is useful for operators seeking a shared operational hub, though the feature range alone does not establish that every workflow will fit a particular space.

Member communication and finance

Direct and group messages, a private feed, mail logging, support tickets, a shared inbox, newsletters, and documents with e-signing give operators several routes for member communication. Finance tools include automatic invoicing, payments, expense tracking, reports, credits, coupons, promotions, and point of sale. Each workspace connects its own Stripe account, with payments going directly to that workspace rather than through Deskie. That arrangement keeps payment flow tied to the operator’s account, while making Stripe part of the setup.

Access and mobile

Deskie lists Stripe for payments and Kisi, UniFi Access, and Deskie Access for door control. Its native iOS and Android apps are described as providing the same experience as the web product. Operators can also add a branded member app for bookings, door unlocking, invoice payments, and push notifications; Deskie handles its builds, updates, and store submissions. That is a useful path for spaces that want a branded mobile presence, but it is a separate $100/month charge.

Pricing

Deskie has no free plan and offers a 7-day trial. Starter costs 49.00 USD per month (billed $49/mo) and is for spaces with 15 members or less. It is the lower-cost entry point for a small operation, but the stated member cap makes it a poor fit for a space expecting to grow beyond that size.

Core costs 99.00 USD per month (billed $99/mo) and includes one location, unlimited members, every feature, and unlimited integrations. It is the clearer fit for operators who have outgrown Starter or need the full feature set at one location. The one-location allowance is a meaningful constraint for multi-site operators.

White-Label App costs 100.00 USD per month, flat. It provides a customized member app with the operator’s own App Store and Google Play listings, with Deskie handling builds, updates, and submissions. Treat it as an add-on for businesses that value a branded app enough to pay for it; native iOS and Android apps are already part of Deskie’s mobile offering. The listed plan terms do not state whether this charge is additional to another plan.

Platforms

Deskie runs on web, Windows, and macOS, with native mobile apps for iOS and Android. For access control, the listed integrations are Kisi, UniFi Access, and Deskie Access. Deskie says it uses technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, while acknowledging that absolute security cannot be guaranteed. It says it does not sell personal information or share it with advertisers or data brokers, and retains information while an account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and tax obligations; billing records are typically retained for seven years.

Who it's for

Deskie is aimed at coworking operators, flex-office managers, and shared-workspace providers. Starter suits a small space with no more than 15 members; Core is more appropriate for a one-location operator that needs unlimited members and the full feature set. Multi-site businesses may find the breadth appealing, but should confirm how their location count fits before choosing a plan. The branded app is most relevant to operators who want their member app published under their own brand.

Pros and cons

Broad operational coverage: space allocation, staff workflows, member communication, and finance tools share a platform, which can suit operators consolidating several parts of workspace management.
Member payments go to the workspace: each operator connects its own Stripe account and receives payments directly.
Clear small-space entry tier: Starter is $49/mo, but its 15-member ceiling limits its usefulness as a space grows.
Full-featured one-location tier: Core includes unlimited members and integrations, but its one-location allowance may not suit a portfolio.
Branded app comes at a separate price: the $100/month flat tier covers custom branding and app-store handling, a substantial extra for operators who do not need their own listings.

Alternatives

Consider Proximity if digital door access is the priority: its $99.00 USD monthly Digital Door Access plan is per coworking-space location and integrates Proximity Open, Brivo, SALTO, or Kisi, with hardware extra. Choose Spacebring for its own branded-email option: the $11.00 USD per month Custom MAIL FROM add-on sends transactional email from a branded address and is included in Enterprise. Cobot offers an External Bookings add-on for $19.00 USD per month with unlimited bookings and resources, so it may suit a narrower external-booking need. Hamlet is another option to compare for a one-location operation with unlimited members; its Hamlet Base plan is A$350/month, billed monthly, cancellable with 30 days’ notice, with prices excluding GST.

Loka lists a Starter plan at 599 000 sum / month for up to 20 rentable rooms, which may be relevant to operators whose capacity is room-based. ofyse has a $129/mo plan for one location and up to 50 members, with bookings, resources, floor plans, invoicing, and recurring billing. Optix may suit teams comparing automation capacity: Essentials includes 50 active users and 100 automation actions, with one location included and two supported; it is billed $197 USD/mo yearly. Coves is another paid alternative to compare.

Verdict

Deskie is a strong fit for coworking and flex-office operators who want member services, workspace operations, payments, and access control under one roof. Its main advantage is the range of work it covers, while the main buying checks are the 15-member Starter cap, Core’s one-location limit, and whether a branded app justifies another $100/month. Choose it when that combination matches the operation; look elsewhere when location or plan constraints outweigh the value of having those workflows together.
