In their own words
Detonate
Detonate runs software dependencies in isolated micro-virtual machines and monitors their runtime behavior for software supply chain security. It accepts npm and PyPI packages, Maven artifacts, binaries, and Docker images, then records file access, network connections, DNS queries, and process execution. The product assigns benign, suspicious, or policy-violating verdicts and provides an event timeline. Decoy files such as fake SSH keys, cloud credentials, API tokens, and environment files can flag access attempts. A token-authenticated REST API supports artifact submission, status checks, verdicts, and reports for CI/CD deployment gates. The sandbox has no internet connection by default; outbound connections can be logged and optionally blocked. Described controls include Firecracker microVM and KVM hardware isolation, gVisor support, seccomp-BPF profiles, and read-only root filesystems with tmpfs overlays. Detonate supports API and web access, Linux, and self-hosted deployment. The Community plan is free and self-hosted, with 2 concurrent sandboxes and 200 API runs per month. Paid plans start at $4,990 a year; enterprise pricing starts at $14,990 a year.
Malwagon
Malwagon is a cloud-based malware analysis sandbox that examines files, URLs, commands, documents, packages, hashes and Windows kernel drivers in isolated virtual machines. It returns scored verdicts with evidence. Static analysis includes YARA, capability identification, obfuscated-string recovery, packer and entropy checks, signature scanning, disassembly, secrets scanning and configuration extraction. Dynamic analysis records ETW kernel telemetry, memory forensics, hypervisor introspection, network traffic and JA3/JA4 fingerprints. Reports can include MITRE ATT&CK mappings and generated YARA, Sigma and Suricata rules, with exports including ATT&CK Navigator, STIX 2.1, MISP, PDF and DOCX. Accepted executables and archives can be up to 128 MB. Each run uses its own full virtual machine, discarded afterward. Samples stay on Malwagon-operated infrastructure; third parties receive hashes and derived indicators for reputation lookups. Free-tier reports are public, while paid plans can keep scans private. Pro costs $79 a month, billed $790/yr billed yearly, and includes 200 scan credits per month, private reports, REST API and MCP access.
