DFIRe
DFIRe is self-hosted case management software for digital forensics and incident response. Teams can configure case types, severity, assignments, and escalation from triage to incident response while keeping case history. Evidence records can be organized hierarchically with configurable attributes, custody verification, printable receipts, and transfer records. The software includes default playbooks for fifteen common case types, which users can adapt or replace, plus timers and reminders for breach notifications, statutory reporting, and other deadlines. Its IOC registry supports STIX 2.1 types, enrichment from named threat intelligence providers, and sharing through MISP and TAXII. Documented integrations include Slack, bidirectional Jira synchronization, webhooks, and SIEM or log forwarding. Reports support structured sections, QA, evidence inventories, and optional LLM drafting through a customer-selected provider. Security documentation describes OIDC sign-on, role-based access, encrypted attachments, and an immutable audit trail. DFIRe supports air-gapped use and offline licensing. The annual licence is €9,900 a year for unlimited users and cases in one production deployment; a 90-day trial is available.
UiPath Maestro Case Management
UiPath Maestro Case Management is designed for enterprise cases that involve extensive documents and work that does not fit a fixed workflow. AI agents can read claims, contracts, applications, and notes, draft responses, update systems, and help move cases toward closure; people remain involved when judgment is needed. Its controls include SLAs, escalation policies, role-based access, and immutable audit trails. Case Manager and Stage Manager Agents produce plans that explain their actions. The platform connects with CRM, ERP, ITSM, HR, and custom systems, including through ready connectors for SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Workday. Case records can aggregate live data through UiPath Data Fabric without copying it, and custom systems can connect through APIs. Business users can configure plans, stages, SLAs, and escalation rules in Studio Web. Ready process apps provide intake forms, queues, and dashboards, and templates cover claims, loans, disputes, onboarding, compliance, and investigations. Cloud and self-hosted deployment options are described; most teams can establish a first case type in weeks, not quarters. A free trial and demo path are listed, but public plan prices are not printed.
