In their own words
digiQueue
digiQueue is restaurant queue software that lets guests pay a restaurant-set fee to skip the wait. Guests can join from a mobile browser without installing an app or creating an account. Restaurants can offer standard and priority queues, with QR codes, SMS notifications and a real-time dashboard; staff can scan QR passes using a phone or tablet. The service is listed for Android, iOS and web, and the maker says it works on any phone or tablet. Restaurants connect Stripe to receive priority payments, which are deposited automatically and described as Stripe-secured. Under the free plan, the restaurant receives 25% of priority payments. The Priority Plan raises that share to 75% and adds reservations and multi-queue management. It charges $0.01 per outgoing notification, with no monthly fee listed. The maker says setup takes under 10 minutes and does not require a credit card. digiQueue is made by Thompson Technology LLC, which identifies itself as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
queue1
queue1 manages queues for restaurants, clinics, salons and other walk-in venues. Staff use queue1 Controller to issue tickets, call the next ticket and update the “Now serving” display. Venues can keep multiple queues for different party sizes or service types. Guests can scan a QR code or open a private ticket link in a browser to follow progress without installing an app; notifications are available where supported, and the Growth plan adds push notifications. The site says ticket pages use unique, hard-to-guess links and production traffic is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Queue state is saved for recovery after interruptions, but normal operation on venue Wi-Fi requires an active internet connection. The free Demo is limited to 100 tickets and uses two Android devices, one for Display and one for Controller. A screen of 10 inches or larger is recommended for the guest-facing Display. Growth costs A$50 a month and includes live queue sync, monthly queue reports and priority support. Enterprise pricing is custom.
