DisplayWord

DisplayWord is worship presentation software for Christian churches, from small gatherings to congregations with worship teams and auditorium setups. It runs on Windows 10/11 and macOS, with browser screens available on phones and tablets, and can operate fully offline. The free Church edition includes a hall screen, Bible search by passage or text, up to three translations at once, sermon plans, a song library and editor, media and backgrounds, and printable chord sheets. The editor supports chords within lyrics, vocalist-specific keys, and automatic transposition. Connect adds stage and preacher screens, live modulation, and musician cues that can be customized. Team adds browser-based musician screens, tablet setlist and sermon preparation, multi-device screen control, and laptop sync; those browser screens use the local network and need neither internet nor an app installation. Church is free. Connect costs $24 a month and Team costs $48 a month, each billed monthly and cancellable anytime. Every edition includes Team features for 60 days after installation. DisplayWord calls itself a pilot product and invites email reports, prioritizing problems that interrupt services.

VerseCAST

VerseCAST uses a phone to send Bible passages, lyrics, media, and other content wirelessly to a Smart TV or projector. It runs on Android, iOS, and web browsers, and is aimed by its maker at small churches, Bible study groups, and youth ministries. Users can share verses from YouVersion; the maker says those Bibles are available without additional charge. Song tools include a searchable lyrics library,.chordpro imports, and song-set imports from OnSong or SongbookPRO. It connects to Google Cast displays or displays that open a web page, with multiple output URLs available. Stream options include lower-third subtitles for OBS and vMix, plus a chroma version for hardware streamers such as ATEM. The maker says its templates adjust text size and render at native display resolution up to 4K. VerseCAST does not work offline: Chromecast or browser display setups require WiFi with internet access. Bible presentation is free, though demo access limits slide count and functionality. The Monthly plan is $3.49 a month, the Yearly plan is $24.99 a year, and the Perpetual plan is $49.99 as a one-time purchase.
