In their own words
DJ.Studio
DJ.Studio is a timeline-based app for planning, editing, and exporting prepared audio or video mixes, rather than playing live sets. Its Harmonize feature orders playlists using tempo and harmonic matching based on the Camelot Wheel. Users can edit transitions and add effects, automations, and samples. Listed music sources and library connections include Mixed In Key, rekordbox, Serato, VirtualDJ, Engine DJ, TRAKTOR, iTunes, Beatport, Beatsource, YouTube, and computer libraries. Mixes can be exported as WAV or MP3 files, sent to Mixcloud, or exported as video for YouTube. The app is available for macOS, Windows, and the web. After downloading and signing in once, it can work offline, though online features such as Beatport search are unavailable. A seven-day trial requires no credit card and does not automatically become a paid subscription. The one-time license provides lifetime use for one user on up to two machines, with 12 months of updates and support. Video export and VST support are in Ultimate; stem separation is available in Pro + Stems and Ultimate.
OpenMix
OpenMix is a web-based DJ mixing application that runs in a browser. It provides two decks, labeled Deck A and Deck B, with cue, sync, pitch, loop, and beat-matching controls. The feature list includes BPM and key detection plus an AI DJ assistant. Supported audio formats are MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and AAC. OpenMix says it works offline and keeps data local. The interface also includes Strudel, which offers drum-pattern presets and BPM controls. An AI section presents FX, PADS, REC, and LYRIA buttons. OpenMix is free and open source, with a Free plan listed at free. The product is available on the web, making its mixing decks, track analysis, rhythm tools, and AI controls accessible through that platform.
