Papago is an AI translator that NAVER describes as using its own AI technology to help people read, write, hear, and speak foreign languages. Its app offers text, image, voice, offline text, conversation, handwriting, website, and document translation, plus Edu and a dictionary. The app listing names 14 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese in Simplified and Traditional forms, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Russian, German, Italian, and Arabic. The standard web document translator supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and HWPX files up to 20 MB. Papago Plus adds support for PDF, HWPX, MS Office, and TXT documents while retaining complex formatting, with translated files available for editing. Plus also offers batch image translation, real-time voice translation, custom and shared glossaries, and team accounts. The free Papago plan lists monthly limits for images, documents, voice translation, and glossary terms. Plus Basic costs $9.99 a month; the higher Plus plans cost 29.99 USD and $55.99 a month.
