It enables organizations to exchange documents and data through interoperable nodes across public or private networks. eDelivery specifications use digital signatures and encryption for integrity and confidentiality, with a digitally signed receipt required for each message. The REST Plugin provides an authenticated OpenAPI interface, webhook notifications, and message resend or download workflows. Default Web Service, File System, and JMS plugins are listed in Jakarta EE 8 and Jakarta EE 10 variants. Version 5.2.1.3, released on 11 September 2026, is identified as the latest security patch. Domibus supports Tomcat 10.1, WebLogic 14.1.2, and WildFly 37.0.x, plus MySQL 8 or Oracle 19c and Java 21 options.
